Guard and Reserve brigade, battalion command sergeant major list gets release date

Results of the Regular Army and Active Guard and Reserve (Army Reserve) brigade and battalion command sergeant major and sergeant major key billet selection board that met in October will be released Thursday, Jan. 28.

Senior NCOs selected by the board will be assigned to positions that become vacant in fiscal 2017.

Under a policy change that applies to this selection list, tour lengths that previously were 24 months in length will now be 30 months long.   Positions that required either 12- or 36-month tour lengths will not be affected by the change.
