Two judges determined it was too early in the legal process to make a decision on the contentious issue of affirmative action in the service academies. A Connecticut military veteran has been arrested on allegations he threatened government officials, federal authorities said Friday. The services have newly confirmed leaders heading into 2024. Veterans with low disability ratings see higher income than non-disabled peers, but individuals with significant health issues lag far behind.
