The bombing of Dresden remains a controversial period in the Allied air war over Europe. For four grueling days, U.S. and Italian soldiers operated under German standards to earn a foreign military badge few U.S. troops are authorized to wear. 2 months ago The Pentagon eventually wants to field swarms of low-cost, one-way attack drones that cost just a few thousand dollars apiece. The conferenced defense spending bill would increase funding for both the Air Force and Navy's sixth-generation fighters. The newly created Western Hemisphere Command will assume responsibilities formerly fulfilled by the Security Force Assistance Command. The one-star command, located at Fort Bragg, was created in 2018 to help sustain the Army's specialized units built to assist partner forces worldwide.
