A soldier assigned to U.S. Army Central has died of non-combat-related injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Kuwait, according to a news release from the Army.

The Thursday incident is under investigation, and the soldier's name will be released after their family has been notified, the release said.

Details on the accident are unavailable, according to ARCENT spokeswoman Leticia Hopkins.
