Tim Kennedy will face a new opponent at UFC 206 in Toronto on Dec. 10.

Kennedy, a former active-duty sniper and current Texas Army National Guardsman, had been scheduled to face Rashad Evans in the middleweight fight.

According to MMAJunkie.com, Evans wasn't cleared for a fight license. Kennedy and Evans were also unable to meet at UFC 205 in New York's Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12 after Evans was pulled for an undisclosed medical issue.

Kennedy said in a tweet that his new opponent is to be determined.

UFC 206 will be held at Air Canada Centre in Toronto and features a light heavyweight title match between champ Daniel Cormier and Anthony "Rumble" Johnson as the main event.
