The secretaries of the Army and the Air Force will be the guests on Thursday evening's episode of "The Daily Show" with Trevor Noah.

Army Secretary Eric Fanning on Thursday tweeted about his joint appearance on the Comedy Central program with Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James with the self-deprecating hashtag "#WeGotJokes, maybe."

There's no official announcement on what they will discuss with host Noah, although it's a safe bet that Donald Trump's election will come up at least briefly.

And James may have dropped a hint on what's in store when she tweeted, "Get ready for the #TBT [throw-back Thursday] pictures!"

This is the first time James and Fanning have appeared on the show, although Navy Secretary Ray Mabus sat down with Noah's predecessor, Jon Stewart, in 2009. Former Defense Secretaries Robert Gates and Donald Rumsfeld and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell also appeared on "The Daily Show," and retired Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno was a regular and memorable guest on the spinoff, "The Colbert Report."

The episode will air at 11 p.m. EST.
