Rating forms that support the launch of a new NCO Evaluation Reporting system will be posted to the Human Resources Command website on next Tuesday, Dec. 8.
HRC has been prepping the active and reserve components for the new system in recent months, to include training classes for soldiers and supervisors, and the publication one month ago of an updated regulation and pamphlet governing the new NCOER.
The command also has released a new NCO counseling form for use with evaluation reports that will have thru dates of Jan. 1 and later, and that will be submitted on the new DA Form 2166-9 series reports.
Evaluations with thru dates of Dec. 31 and earlier should be submitted under the current system, which uses the 2166-8 series forms.
The new system has four documents, the mandatory counseling form, and separate rating forms for sergeants, staff sergeants through master sergeants and one for sergeants major.
The documents will be prepared and submitted electronically using the Evaluation Entry System, a high-tech, web-based application that has been used for officer evaluations since 2014.
The EES can be accessed from the "promotions, evaluations" link on the HRC homepage at www.hrc.army.mil. Forms. which are slated for posting Dec. 8, also can be accessed from the Army Publishing Directorate homepage at http://www.apd.army.mil/.
