A soldier stationed in Alaska was found dead in his barracks room on Sunday, according to an Army news release.
Pfc. Ruben Gonzalez III, 23, was assigned to the 1st Stryker Brigade, 25th Infantry Division at Fort Wainwright.
The cavalryman enlisted in the Army in March 2017 and had been assigned to U.S. Army Alaska since August.
Foul play is not suspected, the release said. The incident is under investigation by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command.
