To celebrate World Emoji Day on Tuesday, the Army tweeted a photo of soldiers whose heads were replaced with grinning emojis.

The Internet — being the Internet — had a lot to say about this photo.

Some felt that it was insensitive since it depicted gun-carrying soldiers with big grins.


Others thought different emojis fit better.

And there were some who supported the post.
