The 75th Ranger Regiment has posted job openings for promotable captains and majors from several branches and career fields who are seeking a key developmental assignment with one of the Army's elite units.

The assignment opportunities are targeted at select categories of captains who are attending Intermediate Level Education and majors in year groups 2003 to 2005.

The regiment's specific requirements are:

• Five Ranger-qualified infantry officers.

• One staff judge advocate.

• One medical officer.

• One clinical psychologist.

• One adjutant general officer.

• One logistics officer.

• One military intelligence officer.

• One FA 57 (simulation operations) officer.

• One graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies, preferably from the infantry, armor, field artillery or military intelligence career branch.

Interested ILE students are encouraged to attend informational briefings to be conducted by 75th Ranger Regiment officials at the Army and Navy Command and Staff Colleges at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and Newport, Rhode Island. Times and locations will be communicated to students by the colleges.
