Spc. Jeffrey T. Page is charged with three counts of murder in the death of Spc. Adrian M. Perkins (pictured). Conviction could result in a life sentence and a dishonorable discharge, according to the release.
Prosecutors say Page, with 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, at the time of the incident, killed Perkins because a series of mistakes made by Perkins made him an unpopular member of the unit and reflected poorly on Page.
The Article 32 investigation into the incident took place in December at Fort Carson. The decision to move forward with a court-martial was announced in March.
