Selection lists due out for officer promotion, schooling

The names of National Guard and Army Reserve majors recommended for promotion to lieutenant colonel will be released Thursday, July 16.

Also on tap for release Friday, July 10, are the names of active-component officers selected for the fiscal 2016 Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps, Medical Specialist Corps and Veterinary Corps Long-Term Health Education and Training program.

The promotions lists were compiled by the reserve component Army Promotion List and Army Medical Department O-5 boards that met in January and February.

The selections for the health services training and education programs were made by the LTHET panel that met at the Human Resources Command in May.
