Soldier at Fort Carson faces kidnapping and assault charges

Pfc. Dennyboy Lilomaiava, 19, of Fort Carson, Colorado, has been arrested after being accused of trying to force a woman into his car in the parking lot of a Walmart on Saturday in Fountain, Colorado, Fort Carson officials said.  

Local police say a witness reported the incident and followed the suspect's car to the Fort Carson gate, according to the KOAA News 5 website. Police later spotted the car and arrested Lilomaiava, KOAA reported.

Lilomaiava is facing kidnapping and assault charges, according to the report. 

Police did not find the alleged victim in the car, but contacted her by phone. She had minor injuries to include facial injuries, KOAA said.
