Annual drill pay for members of the National Guard and Reserve components changes in tandem with active-duty basic pay, which means drill pay increases by 1.3 percent in 2016. Guard and Reserve members typically are paid for two "drills" on each drilling day, so a typical drilling weekend nets them pay for four drills.

All drilling reservists received a 1.3 percent increase in drill pay effective Jan. 1. The rates shown below are for four drills, a typical duty weekend for reservists. The rates in effect this year:
