FAYETTEVILLE, N.Y. — Police say they're looking for a man who punched a disabled veteran who was inside a central New York doughnut shop with his service dog.
Authorities say the man confronted the Army veteran late Monday morning at the counter of the Dunkin' Donuts in the village of Fayetteville, just east of Syracuse.
Police say the man said he had an issue with the service dog, then punched the veteran in the face, knocking him to the floor.
The man then left the store with his family, including a young child.
The veteran was treated for minor injuries.
Police have released photos from the store's surveillance cameras that they said show the suspect. They're asking anyone who recognizes the man in the photos to call the Manlius Police Department.
